Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of apistatuscheck.com and everything served from it — the status pages, outage alerts, badges, the public API, the MCP server and the API Status Check app in ChatGPT (together, "the service"). The service is operated by Bity LLC. By using it you agree to these terms.

What the service does

API Status Check reports the status of third-party online services. Where a vendor publishes a status page we read it and repeat what the vendor reports; where it does not, we check whether the service's public endpoint responds. We are not affiliated with the services we report on, and their names and trademarks belong to their owners.

No guarantee of accuracy or availability

Status information is provided "as is". A vendor's status page can lag behind a real outage or omit problems that affect only some users, regions or networks, and a single endpoint check is weak evidence either way. Do not rely on the service as your only source for decisions where an error could cause loss. To the extent the law allows, Bity LLC is not liable for any loss arising from information the service gave or failed to give, or from the service being unavailable.

Acceptable use

• Do not overload the service, scrape it at high volume, or attempt to bypass its rate limits.
• Do not use it to probe, attack or interfere with any system.
• Do not present our data as your own monitoring without attribution.

We may limit or block access that breaks these rules.

Accounts and paid features

Some features require an email address or an account. Any paid feature is described, with its terms, on our website before you sign up for it, and payments are handled by our payment processor. Nothing is sold inside the ChatGPT app.

Privacy

How we handle data is described in our privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
