S3 export delivery permissions - Resolved
Sep 9, 08:32 PM โ Resolved Sep 9, 08:32 PM
Some S3 export files delivered between September 9 at 20:32 UTC and September 10 at 04:01 UTC were missing the bucket-owner-full-control permission, which prevented affected customers from reading them. The issue is resolved. Exports moving forward and outside this timeframe are not impacted. No data was lost. For impacted files in the affected timeframe, set your bucket's Object Ownership to Bucket owner enforced (disable ACLs), if compatible with your bucket access requirements. If you have questions or continue to experience issues, please submit a support request.

Is Amplitude down for everyone or just me?
To determine whether it's a widespread Amplitude outage or a problem specific to your account or location:
- Check the status indicator above โ if this page shows a major outage, it's confirmed global.
- Try a different device or network โ if it works on mobile data but not Wi-Fi, it's likely a local network issue, not Amplitude.
- Clear cache and cookies โ browser issues can mimic service outages.
- Check community reports โ Downdetector and social media will show whether hundreds of other users are reporting the same issue.
- Test the API directly (for developers) โ a raw request returning 5xx errors confirms a service-side outage; a 429 means you've hit your personal rate limit.
