MongoDB Atlas Log Integration service degraded

Aug 28, 02:30 PM โ€” Resolved Aug 28, 02:30 PM

Between approximately 14:29 UTC and 15:42 UTC on August 28, 2026, log delivery via Atlas Log Integration was impacted due to an internal service issue. Some users may have encountered delayed or missing logs during this window. Log delivery has since returned to normal. We are implementing measures to reduce the risk of this happening again.

Atlas UI and API Periodic Unavailability

Aug 18, 02:10 PM โ€” Resolved Aug 18, 03:17 PM

This incident has been resolved. Following the incident, we identified an issue that caused some internal Atlas jobs not to start as scheduled, resulting in delays to certain changes. The issue was related to this incident "Atlas UI and API Periodic Unavailability" which has been remediated. Customer clusters and their data were not affected; the impact was limited to the timing of control-plane operations. This jobs issue has been resolved as well.

MongoDB Atlas Down? Try These Steps

  1. Check the official MongoDB Atlas status page for announcements
  2. Try refreshing your browser or clearing cache
  3. Check your internet connection
  4. Try accessing from a different network or VPN
  5. Check social media for reports from other users
  6. Set up automated monitoring so you know before your users do โ€” Better Stack monitors every 30 seconds

Is MongoDB Atlas down for everyone or just me?

To determine whether it's a widespread MongoDB Atlas outage or a problem specific to your account or location:

  1. Check the status indicator above โ€” if this page shows a major outage, it's confirmed global.
  2. Try a different device or network โ€” if it works on mobile data but not Wi-Fi, it's likely a local network issue, not MongoDB Atlas.
  3. Clear cache and cookies โ€” browser issues can mimic service outages.
  4. Check community reports โ€” Downdetector and social media will show whether hundreds of other users are reporting the same issue.
  5. Test the API directly (for developers) โ€” a raw request returning 5xx errors confirms a service-side outage; a 429 means you've hit your personal rate limit.
